Press release: Swipe Health recognised as a 'business of tomorrow'

Australian digital health agency Swipe Health has just been named one of 200 outstanding businesses with a clear vision to shape their industries in the future, as part of Westpac’s Businesses of Tomorrow program.

Swipe Health employs a unique business model, that connects pharmaceutical companies with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and patients by leveraging a range of established New Age Medical Media (NAMM) solutions. These digital resources provide education and support designed to help HCPs provide better care to their patients, from initial diagnosis through to treatment and ongoing management.

Swipe Health’s NAMM range includes well known digital medical resources such as Calculate by QxMD, Figure 1, drawMD, Cancer Aid and Sosido, which between them engage with millions of health care professionals from around the globe.

By engaging with HCPs through trusted digital resources that are already embedded within their workflow, pharmaceutical companies are able to play a more meaningful role in delivering support to HCPs and patients, at a fraction of the cost that it would otherwise take to design and build bespoke digital solutions.

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve proven the strength of the NAMM model by providing solutions to pharma brands that, crucially, put the needs of patients and doctors first, but also deliver tangible results for the brand,” said Steve Royle, Managing Director and founder of Swipe Health.

“The model is garnering significant momentum, with growing audiences of HCPs downloading these tools and consequently engaging with the industry-sponsored content; and we have more partnerships on the horizon,” he said.

Being recognised as a Business of Tomorrow is another proud milestone for the company in 2018, after recently being announced as a finalist at the eyeforpharma European awards in Barcelona for an initiative with one of their UK clients.
